Shipping

Order processing times

All orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped that will contain your tracking number.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

We offer courier with signature shipping for the NORTH ISLAND of NZ at $15 per box, and for the SOUTH ISLAND of NZ at $22 per box, up to 1.4KGs (approx. 12 vinyls at 120g each or 6 at 230g each)


**Note** EPs and LPs with double or triple vinyls etc count as 2 and 3 vinyls for shipping.

EG. One cart with 1x double EP and 1x triple EP will count as 5 vinyls for shipping purposes.

We will contact you regarding any shipping price adjustments that may be necessary.


International Shipping

We currently only ship within New Zealand. If you would like to make an international order, please contact us at instinctive.selections@gmail.com to discuss your shipping needs.


How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 14 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at instinctive.selections@gmail.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.


Shipping to P.O. boxes

We do not ship to PO Boxes


Refunds, returns, and exchanges

All Vinyl purchases are final sale.

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind. If you have any doubts or any questions please send an email to instinctive.selections@gmail.com to discuss the item condition with us, before purchasing.


In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us within 48hrs of receipt at instinctive.selections@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

In order to be eligible to discuss a potentially faulty item with us, you must record the condition your item arrives in by either photo or video, and play the record to check quality within 48hrs of receipt. Any claims of a faulty product will need documentation of both the condition upon arrival and recorded proof of any sound or quality faults. Such a fault must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt of the product. If a fault is accepted by us we reserve the right to determine whether a refund or store credit will be given.

After 48hrs from receipt of the product it will be assumed that the item was received in the expected condition and any potential issues past this timeframe have arisen from customer interaction with the product.


Returns may be required to verify a faulty item and all return costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. The item must be returned in the original packaging and no later than 7 days from receipt of the item. Noting that any returns must be accepted by Instinctive Selections before sending them back.


To initiate a return, please complete the following steps:

  1. Reply to your order confirmation email to request which products you would like to return.
  2. Ensure your request fits the criteria of a faulty or damaged item
  3. Wait for return communication from Instinctive Selections before returning any items.

Additional Information:

  • Lost or damaged items in transit are the responsibility of the postal carrier and we will do everything we can on your behalf to raise any issues with them.
